Course Description: In this course, students learn schematics and rules for drawing people's faces and figures.
What's Included: 4 LIVE classes on Zoom, Tuesdays 5-6:30pm PT, January 5th, 12th, 21st and 28th. Plus recordings of the 4 projects until 1/31/21.
Course Designed For: 2nd-6th Grade
PROJECT 1: HOW TO DRAW A FRONT FACE
Project Description: In this project, students will learn the forward-facing facial schematic. They will learn rules for correct placement and proportion of the facial features.
Supplies: pencil, sharpie, eraser, acrylic paints and thick white paper.
PROJECT 2: HOW TO DRAW A FRONT FIGURE
Project Description: In this project, students will learn the rules of a front-facing 7-headed, figurative schematic
Supplies: pencil, sharpie, eraser, colored pencils, chalk pastels, white paper.
PROJECT 3: HOW TO DRAW A PROFILE FACE
Project Description: In this project, students will learn the rules of a profile, facial schematic.
Supplies: pencil, sharpie, eraser, oil pastels, watercolors, watercolor paper.
PROJECT 4: HOW TO DRAW A PROFILE FIGURE
Project Description: In this project, students will learn the rules for drawing a profile figurative schematic.
Supplies: pencil, sharpie, eraser, colored pencils, chalk pastels, white paper.
