In this series, students visit each of the 7 continents. In the "Asia" course, students will learn about the continent of Asia as a whole and then learn about and create projects for India, Thailand, Taiwan, Russia and Japan.

Course Designed For: K - 6th Grade
PROJECT 1: CONTINENT OVERVIEW: ASIA
Project Description: In this class, students will learn an overview of the Asia Continent map, geography, weather and other interesting features.
Supplies: Colored and white paper, pencil, sharpie, eraser, chalk pastels, scissors, markers
PROJECT 2: INDIA (Grades K-2)
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the India flag and national bird, the Peacock.
Supplies: Colored and white paper, pencil, sharpie, eraser, markers, oil pastels and watercolors.
PROJECT 3: INDIA (Grades 3-6)
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the India map, Golden Temple and the stunning Taj Mahal
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, watercolor paper, watercolors, chalk pastels,markers and colored pencils
PROJECT 4: JAPAN
Project Description: In this class, students learn about Japan's map, the Itsukushima Shrine, snow monkeys and iconic Mt. Fuji

PROJECT 5: RUSSIA
Project Description: In this class, students learn that Russia is the largest country in the world and it covers TWO continents! In this class, students learn about the Russia map and the colorful and iconic St. Basil's Cathedral

PROJECT 6: TAIWAN (Grades K-2)
Project Description: Did you know that Boba originated in Taiwan? In this class, students learn about Taiwan's flag, the Formosan Black Bear, Boba and the National flower, the plum blossom.
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, watercolor paper, oil pastels and watercolors.
PROJECT 7: TAIWAN (Grades 3-6)
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the Taiwan map and Taipei 101 building and the Grand Hotel.
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, oil pastels, watercolors, colored pencils, chalk pastels, watercolor paper, black paper, markers.
PROJECT 8: THAILAND (Grades K-2)
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the Thailand flag and dusky leaf monkeys. This adorable monkey looks like it is wearing glasses, which leads it to also be called the spectacled langur!
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, watercolor paper, oil pastels and watercolors.
PROJECT 9: THAILAND (Grades 3-6)
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the Thailand map, Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun) and the Great Budha.
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, chalk pastels, colored paper, metallic markers, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, watercolor paper.
