What's Included: 4 projects

Course Designed For: PK-1st Grade (younger students may need assistance)

  • The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds, published in 2013. In this book, a child named Vashti thinks you doesn't draw well but she can draw a dot! She learns to make art out of a single dot, and learns she can draw after all. This is an inspiring book for kids that lack self-confidence in their art abilities.
  • The Rainbow Fish, by Marcus Pfister, published in 1992. This book is about selfishness and sharing.
  • Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak, published in 1984. In this book, a boy named Max has a tantrum, is sent to his room and then he visits an imaginary world of "Wild Things".
  • Goodnight, Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown, published in 1947. This is a bedtime book of a bunny saying goodnight to everything in the room.
