In this series, students visit each of the 7 continents. In the "Europe Part 1" course, students will learn about the European Continent as a whole, and create projects about France, Great Britain and the Netherlands.

Course Designed For: 2nd - 6th Grade
PROJECT 1: CONTINENT OVERVIEW: EUROPE
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the basic geography and facts of the European Continent. They will draw a map of Europe and then a few symbols of landmarks that represent the continent as a whole.
Supplies: Pencil, eraser, sharpie, permanent markers, markers, watercolors, thick paper
PROJECT 2: FRANCE
Project Description: From it's iconic landmarks, art, and culinary influence, it is no wonder why so many people want to visit France! In this class, students learn about France, the map, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the Palace of Versaille.
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, watercolor paper, oil pastels, watercolors, colored pencils.
PROJECT 3: UNITED KINGDOM
Project Description: In this class, students learn about the United Kingdom, the flag, Big Ben, Oxford University and Stone Henge. Known for it's royal family, and the industrial revolution, let's take a closer look at what makes this country so special!
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, chalk pastels, color pencils, watercolors, oil pastels, watercolor or thick paper.
PROJECT 4: NETHERLANDS
Project Description: Fields of tulips, windmills turning on the horizon, bicyclists riding through Amsterdam. These are the things that come to mind when we dream of the Netherlands. In this class, students learn about the Netherlands, the map, the tulip fields and clogs.
Supplies: Pencil, sharpie, eraser, watercolors, oil pastels, watercolor paper.
