In this series, students will learn about Fashion in every decade from 1900 to 2000. Students can draw a person, an animal or any character they want wearing the clothes of that decade. They can cut out their figures and put them together on a time-long, or they can draw them on individual papers and put them together in a Fashion Book.

Series Supplies: This series focuses mostly on the drawing of the specific fashion styles, so students may use whatever mediums they want to color with.

Course Description: In this course, students will learn about Fashion from the 1960's to the 2000's.

PROJECT 7: 1960's

Project Description: In this project, students learn about 1960s fashion. People start wearing really bright colors and patterns, loose, comfortable clothes, and are starting to be influenced by music! Students will draw their own cartoon wearing a classic 1960s fashion.

PROJECT 8: 1970's

Project Description: In this project, students learn about 1970s fashion. They will learn about tie dye shirts, embroidered blouses, capes, military surplus clothing, bell bottoms, and much more! 70s fashion is greatly defined by the music of the time, from folk to psychedelic rock! Students will draw their own cartoon wearing a classic 1970s fashion.

PROJECT 9: 1980's

Project Description: In this project, students learn about 1980s fashion. They will learn about bright and neon colors, permed hair, ripped tights, biker jackets, oversized blazers, poof skirts and much more! Students will draw their own cartoon wearing a classic 1980s fashion.


PROJECT 10: 1990's

Project Description: In this project, students learn about 1990s fashion. They will learn about tailored skirts and pant suits, slip dresses, hot pants, animal prints and much more. Students will draw their own cartoon wearing a classic 1990s fashion.


PROJECT 11: 2000's

Project Description: In this project, students learn about 2000s fashion. A decade of fashion regarded as "anything goes," fashion in this decade is experimental and all over the place! Students will learn about frosted lip gloss, low rise jeans, bedazzled pockets, popcorn shirts, choker necklaces, wide leg yoga pants, studded belts, butterfly clips, rhinestones and much more. Students will draw their own cartoon wearing a classic 2000s fashion.
