These markers are recommended for older students (6th grade and above), that are exploring advanced techniques, such as shading and manga. These markers are double-sided, which allows students to draw details and to fill in large spaces. Since these are permanent markers, they do not leave any "strokes" like water-based markers tend to do. They do have a permanent-marker smell, so Fibo recommends using them in a well-ventilated area. Fibo does not allow these markers to be used in our studios due to the fumes. However, they are a world above Mr. Sketch, if you are trying to create advanced level artwork, such as in high school.
