Lil' Picasso students in February 2025 will be creating artwork inspired by Black artists for Black History Month. We encourage you to visit the California African American Museum in Los Angeles to view their George Carver Washington exhibition after your child creates their own Carver-inspired artwork in class! Making this connection to the "real thing" brings their art education to life and starts to create a true love of art, learning and cultural appreciation and awareness.
Lil' Picasso students in January 2025 will be exploring Romanticism artists. We encourage you to visit The Huntington Library to see the "real" versions of the paintings that are inspiring two of our projects this month!
